You are able to book an initial 2-hour behavioral session (new clients), or a 1 or 2 hour follow up here (previous clients)!  Once you have selected your time, we will send you a confirmation.  As this is a new feature, we apologize for any issues in advance.  Don't forget to check for any TRAVEL FEES here before booking.  Please call with any questions.
In-home trainings are done ONLY on Fridays and Saturdays, and are based on availability.  Due to the high demand for in-home behavioral training, we are usually booked out a couple of weeks, but we will get you in as soon as we can.  You can leave a note within the booking process to be placed on a cancellation list and we will call you if we have a cancellation.  We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Important information about our training sessions

Update: 7/27/2020

As Gov. Ducey keeps businesses shut down, my schedule as a first responder is still in constant change and is at the need of the community I serve.  We are continuing to not offer in-home trainings, rattlesnake avoidance training, or group classes at this time.  We are offering some Zoom sessions on Sundays if you feel that could be helpful (text/email/call for scheduling).

Being a first responder, I am potentially exposed to COVID-19 more than the average person and am committed to doing my part in trying not to spread the virus.  We respect the health of our clients and understand that many of them are elderly, or have regular contact with the elderly, and we want them to remain safe and healthy.  We appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to hopefully working with you all soon.

1. Are you offering in-home behavioral training during the COVID-19 pandemic?

At this time, we are not accepting bookings for in-home private behavioral training.  There are primarily two reasons for this:

  • Our behaviorist Rich is a First Responder and he is working inconsistent hours and is on standby when not at work to report for duty for the safety of the public; so Rich isn't available for trainings.

  • As a First Responder, he has a heightened chance of exposure to COVID-19, so we want to do our part in not spreading the virus to you and your family.

  • We are offering some Zoom sessions on a case by case basis, call/text for details.

2. When will you be offering in-home behavioral sessions again?

Please see "update" above.

3What do I do if I have an appointment already booked?

If you already have an appointment scheduled, you can hold onto it until we reopen, which we will.  Perfect Pooch will not go out of business no matter how long we remain closed.  Or you may request a refund.

4. How do we get put on the waiting list for in-home training sessions?

If you want to be added to our list of people to call and schedule as soon as the COVID-19 pandemic is over, fill in the "Contact Us" form here and we will add you to the list in the order it was received.

5. What about Rattlesnake Avoidance Trainings?

We are currently not offering this training at this time.

6. What about Group Obedience Classes?

We are currently not offering group classes at this time.
